Simple to use

The control unit, Alpha 2, from Mitsubishi Electric is used for simpler control and monitoring tasks. It replaces relays, time relays and calculators. You decide what is shown in the control unit's display. It can be a calculator's breakdown value or times of operation relay delays. All values can be changed during operation directly in the display. The values can also be provided with explanatory text.

Alpha 2 is very simple to program, install and operate. Programming is done using a PC or buttons on the front of the control unit. It has a display where operation data is shown with explanatory text. Swedish texts can be used in both the module and programming tools. The control units come in three sizes with 10 to 24 input and outputs.

Alpha 2

  • Program memory for 200 function blocks or 5 000 bytes, of EEPROM type
  • 8 analog inputs (24 V DC model) with 20 mV resolution (9 bits)
  • 15 digital inputs and 9 outputs
  • PT100 and thermal element sensors can be connected via Alpha-adapted converters (24 VDC model)
  • The display is larger than that for Alpha and has backlighting
  • Operating data can be read from the unit display and altered by push-buttons on the front of the unit
  • The Alpha 2 can operate in working temperatures between -25 and 55 degrees Celsius
  • Built-in clock/calendar with automatic compensation for summer and winter time
  • Control program password-protected
  • The menu languages in Alpha 2 are English, German, French, Spanish, Italian , Russian and Swedish

AL2-14M / AL2-24M

  • The units are expandable by 4 digital inputs/outputs 2 analog outputs or ASi-communication
  • Available with either powerful relay outputs or fast transistor outputs
  • Units can be connected to a GSM modem and thereby send SMS messages or E-mail
  • A command system (PC with Visual Basic) can be connected to transfer status in both directions
  • The units can communicate with E-series operator terminals from Beijer Electronics
