FR-A700 - new frequency inverter for demanding environments
The new FR-A700 frequency inverter from Mitsubishi is designed for demanding applications. It has powerful functions for positioning and speed and torque control, something that was previously only possible with DC drives or AC servodrives. Advanced technology such as Mitsubishi’s Real Sensorless Vector Control and integrated PLC provide great flexibility for all applications within industrial environments.
Real Sensorless Vector Control
With Real Sensorless Vector Control, FR-A700 achieves high torque across the entire register – even at low speeds. An effective torque limit protects both motor and machine. Even suspended loads, such as on cranes and hoists, can be positioned exactly using an induction motor and pulse feedback (closed loop).
Integrated PLC
The FR-A700 range is equipped with an integrated PLC as standard. The PLC provides access to all parameters, and the status of all inputs and all outputs can be controlled. The integral PLC can also be accessed from an operator unit.
User-friendly
Operation is simple, with a wheel-button-display that provides fast access to all parameters. Current data and messages are shown on the portable parameter unit, which also includes copying functions. The alarm history can provide valuable information for troubleshooting. The inverter can also be programmed via a USB port, which comes as standard. The FR-A700 is backwards compatible with the FR-A500.
